Every year, Mural Arts partners with the Philadelphia Youth Network to provide a paid summer WorkReady program to Philadelphia-based students aged 12-21. This six-week early incentive-based program introduces students to hands-on work readiness experiences in what it takes to be a working artist. Through project-based learning, employing drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, and mural making, students learn to develop their own creative portfolio while working with locally and nationally known artists.

The Mural Arts’ 2023 Summer WorkReady application period has closed. Please check back in February 2024 to apply to next year’s program.
